Your story at the heart of every ceremony

My Story

My life and work has always been centred around people, family, and connection. I value the moments that bring people together to mark and reflect on what matters most, bringing warmth, openness, and a genuine love of life to my work and relationships.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent 32 years in primary education as a teacher, deputy headteacher, and senior lecturer. Working closely with children and adults at important moments in their lives has shaped the calm, thoughtful, and people centred approach. My work as a celebrant is a natural continuation of that journey. It is about listening, understanding, and honouring what has shaped a life, a relationship, or a moment that matters, grounded in care, trust, and deep respect for individual stories.

My Voice

At the heart of my work is human connection and the simple but powerful act of bringing people together, creating space for everyone to feel seen, heard, and understood at moments that matter most. I take time to listen with care and intent, working openly and thoughtfully to tell each story with honesty, accuracy, and empathy, supported by a trusted and well considered approach.

My Way

Each ceremony is created with care, because every story matters. Whether marking a beginning, a life, or an important moment in between, I bring warmth, sensitivity and thoughtful preparation, and a steady, dependable presence throughout the process. It would be a privilege to help shape a ceremony that feels personal, reflecting each individual story, guided by clear communication, thoughtful support and a dependable presence throughout.
